NATURANDES - VALERIAN ROOT , BAG X 60 GR:   Grows in valleys between 3.900-300 meters above sea level, in the departments of Cajamarca (Celendín). Huánuco, Cuzco, Piura (Ayabaca). Some species grow also in the coastal hills of Peru.

Natural Properties:
*Is considered one of the medicinal plants more appropriate to cure the imbalances nervous and insomnia, because it is sedative, soothing, antidepressant and hypnotic.
*Also has beneficial effects on arrhythmias, arterial hypertension, neurosis gastric (evils of stomach of nervous origin), headaches, seizures and neurosthenia.
RECIPES
* Popular remedy against the insomnia, should be taken, before bedtime, a cup of the infusion of seven to 15 grams of root of valeriana for half a liter of water.
* Popular Remedy : For cases of nerve abnormalities, you can use the dust of the result in a dose of one or two grams per day; or in infusion of 2 to 10 grams in 180 grams of boiling water. The dye are taken from five to ten drops with sugar, several times a day.
* Popular Remedy : The headaches are calm with powder devaleriana in doses of one or two grams per day, being the effect faster and durable.
